After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

The Tribulation

The rapture was Jesus rescuing the Church from the wrath to come. Some point after the rapture, the tribulation will begin and it will be the worst 7 years in history.

Matthew 24:21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
